COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION METHOD

Composite construction provides a way for combining two materials in order to maximize the use of each material. Some of the construction issues connected with standard steel-concrete composite beams are investigated, such as the deck concrete placement sequence and the monitoring of deflections to ensure adequate slab thickness.

Through the activities, I learned about its flexibility  in terms of the architectures that can be achieved, as well as the anti-seismicity provided by the accompanying technological superiority can not be answered in classical prefabricated buildings. The principle of Composite Action underpins the use of composite materials in construction. Depth and weight of steel beam required is reduced. so, the construction depth also reduces increasing the headroom of the building.

Composite construction is faster because of using rolled steel and pre-fabricated components than cast-in-situ concrete. Provides an anti-seismic shield. The supports and beams have been replaced by structural steel cross sections the can provide an anti-seismic shield for the building
